Henry from our estimation team and three of his friends are taking part in the Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge.
The challenge is to play 72 holes (4 Rounds) of golf, back to back on the longest day of the year, Friday 21June. This is no easy feat, consisting of over 20 miles of walking (which is likely to be a-lot more locating lost balls).
All the teams completing this challenge are fundraising for Macmillan so that they can help support people living with cancer. The money raised helps Macmillan provide those affected with physical, financial and emotional support whether it be face to face, through their support lines or online. Since 2002 golfers have raised over £10 million completing this challenge and we would like to add to this.
Henry and his friends are completing the challenge at Ravensmeadow Golf Course in Worcester, who have kindly covered the lads’ green fees for the day. They will begin their challenge at 5:00am and aim to finish around 21:00pm-22:00pm.
